Weichai is the first company in China to develop and produce generator sets. It has a production history of more than 50 years. It mainly produces marine and land-use generator sets, including diesel-type and gas-type generator sets. Weichai Heavy Machinery Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd. is a national designated manufacturer of small and medium-sized generator sets and a vice-chairman unit of the Internal Combustion Power Generation Equipment Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.
